A Message for the Class of 2016

Posted on July 13 2016

Well Year 6, we have come to the end of your final year at Forest Park so quickly.  I cannot believe I have reached the end of my first year as Headteacher at the school and I bet it hasn’t quite sunk in yet that you are leaving us either.  You have been a delight to have in school and have made a positive impact during your time at Forest Park.  The staff and children in the school will miss you.

They say time flies when you are having fun and I can honestly say that I have had a lot of fun with you over the past year.  You have been a joy to teach and been excellent role models for the rest of the school.  I will always remember our residential to Robinwood and the fun we all had, that and falling in the piranha pool due to someone in Year 6 – you know who you are!  You are a class full of smiles and enthusiasm and have been great fun.

I am very proud of all of your achievements and you can all look back fondly on the hard work and effort you put into your time at Forest Park. You have achieved some great academic results as well as many impressive sporting achievements.  I am pleased to see that you have all grown into a responsible set of individuals.  You are a group of very talented students who I am sure will continue to thrive in the same manner at your new schools.

Thank you for being such an enjoyable Year 6 class.  I will miss your energy and enthusiasm and hope that you keep in touch.  I wish you all the best in your new schools thank you for making my first year at Forest Park such a memorable one.

Go on to achieve the great things I know you can.

Best Wishes

Mr. Tucker
