Forest Park Charity Event

Posted on January 27 2016

Last week we launched our latest fund raising initiative with a visit from Ms Jacquline Wilson and her wonderful puppy Lindy. Ms Wilson is a puppy trainer for the Guide Dogs Association. In an assembly she explained to the children about their fantastic organisation and how they provide mobility and freedom to blind and partially sighted people.

On Thursday the children participated in many activities to raise their awareness of how it must be like to be blind or partially sighted.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who returned their puppy sheets coin filled with all your generous donations. We have raised approximately £450!! (a precise figure will be shared soon). I know this money will be gratefully received by The Guide Dog Association.
