Early Years’ Trip to St Mary’s Church

Posted on May 05 2016

Our trip this half term was to St Mary’s Church.  We had a tour of the church learning keywords such as pew, font and altar.  We studied the beautiful stained glass windows and had the opportunity to mark our findings and drawings in a booklet.

We met James, the Curate, who dressed in his special uniform.

Lastly, we went on an exciting task to try and find Nibbles the church mouse who was hiding somewhere in the church!
