What a busy and amazing time it has been for the boys’ football team over the past two weeks.

Within eight days the boys took part in three different football tournaments: Brabyns’ 5-a-side Tournament at the Soccer Dome, the Sale and Partington Champions League Finals at Crossford Bridge and The Christopher Turner Memorial Tournament at Prenton Prep.

We are so proud that the boys became champions of all the tournaments. The team spirit and attitude has been unbelievable. We can assure that all the children understand what the Forest Park motto embodies… ‘I Can and I Will’ as this has been evident in all the matches. 

In the final of the Prenton tournament, the boys went 3-0 down within eight minutes but they kept their heads up.  In the final 4 minutes, the boys managed to come back fighting and scored 5 goals to win.

Yesterday, they also took part in the Premier League Tournament at Manchester City Football Academy.  Seventy five schools attended and there were twelve leagues.  The boys managed to be joint top of the league but unfortunately missed out on the finals on a goal difference of just 2!

The football team consisted of Bailey, Lovell, Daniel, Alex, Shreyas, James, Surjo, Seb and Josh. 

Everyone at Forest Park School is extremely proud of their valiant efforts.
