Starting School

Posted on September 30 2016

The start of term at Forest Park has been as exciting as ever for all of our pupils. However, it has been an extra special time for many of Forest Park’s newest members. Most of these new starters are the youngest pupils in school and are based in our Pre Prep. We have also seen many new faces in other classes too and we have been extremely impressed with the way they have settled to the Forest Park family.

Last week was their first time at Forest Park, first time wearing the uniform, first time eating lunch in the hall, first time playing on the playground, first time in assembly – the first list is endless! Whatever age group they have joined they have all enjoyed Music with Mrs Wainwright, French with Madame Cotton, PE with Mr Duxbury and met with their Forest Park buddies who have looked after them so well and helped them settle into school life.

The new starters have made an exciting start to what I am sure, will be an rewarding and enjoyable year ahead.
