Teddy Bear’s Picnic

Posted on June 24 2016

On Thursday 16 June 2016, the whole school took part in a Teddy Bears Picnic.

This fun filled event enabled classes to join up and enjoy a range of activities and all with the company of their favourite bear.  Reception and Year 6 shared and practised strategies for a penalty shootout challenge.  Pre-Pre and Year 5 learnt from each other learnt how to use gentle hands when playing with Pre-Preps toys.  Year 1 and Year 3 paired up to sketch their bears using oil pastels and the clip 'Old Bear' for inspiration.  Year 2 and Year 4 ran teddy bear relay races and Lucy locket dropped her 'teddy' game.

The teddies were very impressed with the behaviour of their friends at Forest Park and even Mr Tucker was seen participating in his bear outfit.
