Welcome Chirpy!

Posted on April 02 2015

Forest Park School would like to welcome Chirpy to the world!  It was a very eggs-citing time for everyone, especially Reception.  The children cared and looked after her egg-stremely well and were very proud parents.  Reception and Year 1 now have a good understanding of the life cycle of a hen, including the similarities and differences between a hen sitting on eggs as opposed to using an incubator.  Chirpy thoroughly enjoyed being a special guest in our Celebration assembly, even though she was very talkative.  Regular updates of Chirpy’s life on Broadoak Farm (Miss Booth’s farm) will be given to the children.
