Year 1 Computing Lessons

Posted on November 13 2015

Year 1 children have recently been introduced to the Chromebooks in their computing lessons and they have spent the past two weeks inputting instructions.

We are beginning to develop simple algorithms as part of our early learning in programming and have enjoyed using the Lily Hop game and the 2go tool in Purple Mash.  We have also completed several challenges, moving our chosen character icons around a range of mazes to collect treasure. We have even created our own mazes and Lily Hop courses for our partners to play!
