A Walk in the Park

Posted on May 14 2015

The Early Years’ trip to Longford Park was the perfect opportunity to support the environmental themes we have been covering recently.

We started out on a windy, wet morning but it soon turned into a beautiful, sunny day.

The children spent their time observing the different trees and flowers at Longford Park.  They visited the fairy garden and met all the animals in the petting zoo, thanks to Percy the Park Keeper!

After snack time, our environmentally friendly children cleared up their litter into the bins.  This was followed by an energetic  ‘fun run’ in the fields.  We rounded the visit off with a lovely stroll in the sunshine back to the coach.  What a wonderful day!
