Prickly Hay!

We all look forward to the Nativity and Carol service at St Mary’s Church each year and this year was once again an enjoyable evening. The KS2 children delivered a magical opening with their wonderful singing. We were then treated to the KS1 Nativity, Prickly Hay. We are so proud of all the children for their performances. They have worked so hard over the past half term to learn their lines, lyrics, and dances. We were so impressed with the Year 2’s who led the performance, they have grown in confidence over the past year and it was wonderful to see the children fearlessly projecting their voices and acting in front of hundreds of people. The Year 1 children were also amazing! It was their very first time on stage at St Mary’s and they enjoyed every minute.  Their favourite song was ‘Christmas is for you’, mainly because they got to floss!

The evening certainly made everyone feel festive and ready for Christmas, a wonderful evening for all.  Thank you to all the parents for coming to support the children.

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas.
