The morning got off to a great start when Emma Sumner from the NCDS (National Children’s Deaf Society) explained to the children all about the work the charity does. NCDS offers support and guidance to children and their families who have hearing problems.
During the assembly, they gained experience of what it must be like to have little or no hearing.
We are so grateful to all the children and staff who joined in to support this event by wearing different shoes, and boy did we see some odd combinations!
With all this support, we have managed to raise a fantastic amount which will be passed onto the NCDS.
Many thanks for your continuing support.
