Early Years’ Mobile Farm Visit

Posted on May 17 2017

As part of Pre-Prep’s summer term topic, The Farm, we invited Fisher’s Mobile Farm to school last week.

The children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 were all able to enjoy the experience, as were many of the parents at drop off!

The children interacted with all the animals and learned lots of interesting facts about them along with a better understanding of how a farm works.  The farm’s staff talked about different breeds of animals, their young and their habitats.

The children also had the opportunity to go into the animal enclosures and pet the animals.  Particular favourites were the cheeky goats and the noisy pigs!
