“Eggs”citing times ahead for Reception and Year 1

Posted on March 03 2015

Reception and Year 1 were very excited on Tuesday 3rd March as the incubator arrived in school.  Over the next three weeks, the children will work together to take care and look after the eggs.  Mr Booth very kindly came in and did a talk about how the incubator works and also the life cycle of a chick.  The children are looking forward to Mr Booth returning in a week’s time to light test the eggs which will give the children the opportunity to see the chicks inside the eggs.

As part of our transition, the children will take part in a range of group activities related to chicks. We will ensure that everyone is kept up to date with the chicks’ progress.
