Football Success!

Last night, the Forest Park football team played the first two games of the Sale and Partington League.  The first game was against St Anne's which we won 5-0.  Bailey from Year 6 scored a hat trick, Lovel from Year 6 scored one goal and James from Year 5 scored the final goal.

The second game was against Lime Tree.  Unfortunately, we didn't have the best of starts and were losing 1-0.  We had a very positive team talk at half time and the boys went back out onto the pitch with lots of confidence.  We then went on to win the game 2-1. Daniel from Year 6 scored both goals.  The games captains chose Joshua from Year 3 as their Man of the Match as he came on as an emergency subsitute due to injuries, even though he has a broken arm in a cast.

Well done to the boys as Forest Park are now top of the league.  We hope this winning streak continues for the next two weeks.  Many thanks to the parents for coming along to support their children and the team.
