This week as part of our features on Forest Park alumni, we talk to Naina who left Year 6 in July 2017.

Where do you currently go to school?   Altrincham Grammar School for Girls.

What were your roles of responsibility at Forest Park Prep?  Dunham House Captain.  I was also an Office Helper.

Which sports teams were you a member of?  Cricket, Athletics, Cross Country and Water Polo.

What were your favourite sporting memories at Forest Park?  Seeing both of Sneha's shoes stuck in the mud at a really wet cross country meet. It was so funny!

Did you take part in any music?  What were your favourite musical memories at Forest Park?  I was in the junio choir and the chamber choir.

What were your favourite musical memories at Forest Park?  Definitely High School Musical.  It was brilliant.

What house were you in?  Dunham.

What skills have you transferred from Forest Park Prep to your secondary school?  My organisational skills. 

What was your overriding memory of Forest Park Prep?  The Piranha Pool at our Robinwood residential trip in Year 5.

What was your transition like from primary to secondary school?  It was a pretty big jump because Altrincham Grammar School for Girls is so much bigger!

Have you made lots of friends?  Yes I have.

What are your favourite subjects at school?  I really like music and drama.

Which sports do you play?  I now do hockey and netball.

Do you enjoy your new school, what are your favourite parts?  Yes, its great. I like to have more independence.

What is it like returning to Forest Park Prep?  It feels very small!

What was your favourite overall memory or experience whilst at Forest Park Prep?  Probably Leen losing her glasses in Lake Windemere...so funny!

If you could describe Forest Park in one word what would it be?  Friendly.

What differences are there between attending Forest Park Prep and your current school? Altrincham Grammar is much bigger plus there are so many more tests!

Is there any advice you can share that will help the Year 6 children, when moving on to their new secondary schools?  Don't freak out!
