Meet Forest Park’s New Head Boy & Head Girl

In September, our Joe and Nandika will take on their new roles as Head Boy and Head Girl.  We asked them what they are most looking forward to in Year 6 and here’s what they had to say.

"I’m excited to sit on the benches in assemblies.  It will be fun to learn about Mayans and World War II in history as they are interesting subjects.  We will be making Mayan masks in art. I am looking forward to the role of Head Boy and I’m sure everyone else in Year 5 is excited to be doing their roles next year too.  We will be doing a lot of jobs; we will be relied on more and take on more responsibilities.  As Head Boy, I will have to sit in front of everyone in assembly every Friday and give out the certificates. I will be taking the 11+ at the beginning of Year 6 and I will find out the results which will be extremely scary but exciting.  I’m also very excited for the show next year as my class will have the main parts."

"I look forward to being Head Girl next year.  I will enjoy leading the school and learning new things in Year 6.  It will be fun in Year 6 but I will also miss Year 5.  In Year 6 I will take the 11+ exam.  It will be exciting to find out my results.  I will have to sit in front of the whole school and read out and give out certificates in Celebration Assembly every Friday.  We also get to sit on the benches in the other assemblies in Year 6.  We are excited to find out what next year’s show will be as Year 6 have the main roles."
