After an extremely busy year, the holiday period is the time for Forest Park Preparatory Head Boy and Head Girl to reflect on their time of leadership. While being full of challenges, both William and Jessica agree that their experience has been an excellent opportunity to develop their confidence and have an insight into the roles and responsibility of leadership.
Jessica
"Being Head Girl at Forest Park has definitely been an amazing experience - from having the privilege of making a smile appear on a child’s face when I hand them a certificate to getting to meet the raccoon staring in ‘Guardian of the Galaxy’ at a meet and greet for the new children arriving at school. Although it offered some amazing opportunities, I also had a lot riding on my shoulders which pushed me to achieve higher and to be more responsible and pro-active, such as organising school events and taking on more active roles within school. Thank you Forest Park for being a school that has supported me to thrive and become the person I am today."
William
"This year has been packed with hard work and I have learnt lots from my leadership role. The residential gave me and my peers the opportunity to overcome challenges and both myself and Jessica the chance to offer our help and guidance. We have also both had a close relationship with the Early Years, guiding them through their first steps in the Forest Park experience. Overall, this year has been an excellent year for Forest Park and I am proud of our amazing achievements."
