‘Meat Free Monday’ is a movement launched by Paul, Mary and Stella McCartney in 2009, which encourages a Meat Free Monday to raise awareness of the detrimental environmental impact of animal agriculture and industrial fishing.
At Forest Park we want to inspire the children to think conscientiously about their decisions and be responsible global citizens by helping slow climate change, conserve precious natural resources and improve their health by having at least one plant-based day each week. It’s about coming together as a school community to help the planet and promote healthy food.
So, from Monday 28 October Forest Park will be taking part in Meat Free Monday and we hope you choose to spread this message and join in at home.
