Meet the Coach

We have had a long running partnership with City in the Community who deliver a fantastic PE provision at Forest Park.

This year we welcome a new coach to the school, Mr Abbasi, or ‘Coach’ as he’s known to the children.  He has worked for City for 6 years, most recently at their soccer school in Abu Dabi.  Luckily for us though he decided to come back to the sunny climes of Manchester!

He will be working with all the children from Pre-Prep to Year 6 every Thursday and Friday delivering not only a range of age appropriate sports, but also working to enhance the children’s learning and development in school.

Mr Abbasi also provides wraparound care in the form of an after school Multisports club for KS1 & 2 on Thursdays and Fridays, and early morning training for the Year 4 to 6 football teams.
