Never Mind The Voice, We’ve Got Young Voices!

On Tuesday, children from Years 4,5 and 6 starred in the Young Voices concert at the Manchester Arena.

Along with over seven thousand children from across Greater Manchester, pupils wowed the audience with dazzling performances of songs and dancing, accompanied by a live band and professional singers. The children have been preparing for this concert since January, learning a variety of songs from memory, including ‘The Transport of Delight’, ‘Gospel Train’, ‘Utter Madness Medley’, ‘Invincible’ ‘The Lightning Tree’ and ‘Pop Medley.’

On the night, they particularly enjoyed learning how to beat box and dance with Urban Strides. It has given them a real insight into several different styles of music from folk, classical, popular, rap and gospel.

A big thank you to all the parents who came to support the children.
