Open Event - Meet the Animals

Posted on November 04 2016

Forest Park welcomed some very special guests this week when we were visited by a wide range of exotic animals and reptiles at the Meet the Animals Open Event.  The Pre Prep and Year 6 classes and a number of prospective children had the opportunity to learn about the characteristics of the animals on show – they also managed to handle them too!  The meerkats and skunks were the most popular guests, but children also had the opportunity to experience tarantulas, lizards, rats and a selection of creepy crawlies.

The event was a huge success and all the parents and children involved had a great time.  Many thanks to everyone who attended and especially to Meet the Animals for presenting their animals to us.
