Pre-Prep Nature Walk

Pre-Prep went on a nature walk this week.

We started by talking about road safety and the importance of listening to the teachers.

Our adventure then began walking along the road outside school, observing all the changes to the environment such as leaves falling down, prickly holly and colourful berries.

We approached the ‘enchanted path’ and gave each child the chance to explore and enjoy a first-hand experience with nature.

It was lovely to hear all the children’s voices describing what they could see and hear.

“The leaves are wet and squelchy!”

“It looks like a Christmas tree”

“Little birds have little homes”

“The Gruffalo lives here!”
