Pupils’ Work - Year 2

Year 2 have been studying the Great Fire of London this term and have thoroughly enjoyed the topic.

Mrs Florin kicked things off by creating an eye catching display for the classroom, complete with twinkly orange lighting!

As part of the topic the children considered why the fire spread so quickly, one of the reasons being the type of houses that were burning.  The children learnt that Tudor houses were built out of wood and other flammable materials and to conclude the topic they had the opportunity to build their own Tudor houses over the half term holidays with some fantastic results!
