Secondary School Evening

Monday evening brought an array of visitors, both old and new! It was superb to see so many of our Forest Park Alumni willing to share their insightful experiences of secondary education.

Alongside the past pupils, were 6 visiting schools including Hulme Hall Grammar School, Manchester Grammar School for Boys, Withington Girls School, Manchester High School for Girls, Flixton Girls School and Stretford Grammar School. The hall was brimming with energy and enthusiasm for the next steps in their educational journey.

The evening began with two different talks aimed specifically at Year 6 transition and then another in Year 5, based around the application process for sitting entrance exams in the area. In addition, describing the process of completing the Common Assessment Form (CAF) ordering preferences of schools.
