This week’s match report comes from our U11 team goalkeeper, and Head Boy, Arjun.

“On the 20th April we went to Abbey Gate College in Chester for a football match. We got there at about 1:15pm to warm up for a 1:30pm start; each half was twenty five minutes long.

In the first half we played very well as a team and were 3-0 up at half time, with Jesse from Year 3 scoring two goals, and Archie from Year 5 scoring one goal.

In the break, Mr Tucker gave us a team talk and suggested we think of the score as 0-0 instead of 3-0; however Abbey Gate ended up scoring the first 2 goals in the second half.

In the remaining minutes of the match we fought back hard with true Forest Park ‘I Can & I Will’ spirit, and ended up winning 5-2.  This means we are through to the next round of the ISA Under 11 Knock out Cup.”

Arjun, Year 6
