Sports Successes

The sporting season at Forest Park is in full swing once again. In the past week we have taken part in the ISA Water Polo, the first games of the Sale & Partington Football League and the St Bede's Prep Football Challenge.  As always we have shown great team spirit and teamwork in every match.

The water polo team did very well, winning a couple of their games at the ISA competition and finished in a respectable place in their group.

We could not have asked for a better start in the Sale & Partington Football League as we won our first game 3-0.  Two goals were scored by Jesse (one straight in from a corner) in Year 4 and one by Alice in Year 5.  We then went into the second game in high spirits but unfortunately we narrowly lost the match, hindered by losing our captain and defender to the side-lines due to a wasp sting!  Man of the match went to Alex in Year 5 for some spectacular saves in net during his first time representing the Forest Park football team.

Please check Facebook for the latest results from the St Bede's Prep Challenge taking place this afternoon.

We look forward to seeing lots of the Juniors in their 'elf' socks tomorrow at the Cross Country and John Leigh Park.  Fingers crossed the weather will be kind to us.
