The U11 6-a-side Football Team took part in the Christopher Turner Memorial Tournament, kindly hosted by Prenton Prep last week.

It was a touch challenge going into this tournament, as were the reigning champions.  The tournament was originally for a 5-a-side squad but due to Storm Doris it was changed on the day to a 6-a-side tournament.  We therefore played several games throughout the tournament with no substitute as we only took 6 players!  With true grit and determination, and thankfully no illness or injuries, we made it through to the semi-finals, as we came second in our league.

Congratulations to all the boys who took part, but a special mention goes to Man of the Tournament’, Surjo (Y6) for his spectacular role in goal.
