Year 1’s Stunning Safari Class Assembly

To complete their autumn topic, ‘Let’s Go On Safari’, Year 1 whisked us away last week to sunny Kenya for their class assembly.

The children have enjoyed learning lots of different things during this Geography topic, such as the art of Edward Tinga Tinga, African animals and landscapes and more, which culminated in their wonderful assembly.

They all practised extremely hard to learn their lines, the songs and the dance and showed off how confident they all are. The costumes were beautifully bright in keeping with the colours Edward Tinga Tinga used to create his animal artwork.

The children have thoroughly enjoyed learning all about Kenya and have worked hard to remember key facts.

All their hard work paid off and it was a joy to watch them perform.  Thank you for coming to support them.

We now look forward to focusing on our new topic, 'House & Home'.
