Year 4’s class assembly was packed to the rafters! The children performed fantastically, eliciting laughter (in all the right places!) and a well-earned applause from their appreciative audience.
We had mummies who refused to die; wacky embalmers; and pharaohs determined to achieve immortality (who died within seconds of appearing on stage – which just goes to show that you should never tempt fate!); not to mention the incredibly catchy show tunes… Tut… Tut… Tutankhamun, anyone?
Year 4 were very keen to demonstrate everything they have learned in their Egyptian topic work…and this is only the beginning! They still have lots to discover over the coming months; we are certain they will approach each lesson as enthusiastically as they approached their class assembly.
