Year 6 History

Posted on September 29 2017

This term as part of the History curriculum, Year 6 are studying how leisure and entertainment has changed over the years.

The areas which we will study are 'At the Movies', 'On the Football Pitch', 'The Swinging Sixties', ' Holidays', 'The Gogglebox', and 'Technology'.

Below are some pictures the children created to analyse how film posters from the past compare to the posters of today. They had to explain what they thought the film was about, and whether or not they would have liked to have seen it. The children will now create their own film poster using ideas from new and historical posters.
