Joining Forest Park Prep School
There are two main points of entry into the school, at 2+ (Nursery class) and 3+ (Pre Prep), although we occasionally have vacancies in other year groups. If you are interested in a Nursery or Pre Prep place at the School for your child, we urge you to apply very early as our small class sizes mean that our available places fill quickly.
The best way to experience the warmth and happy learning environment of Forest Park Prep School, is to visit us in person. Whether you attend an open event or book a private tour, we look forward to showing you what makes our school so special.
Our next whole school open morning will be taking place on Saturday 28th March 2026.
If you’d prefer to visit us on a different date, please get in touch to book a Private Tour.
Our Admissions Process
Make an Enquiry
We invite you to contact Mrs Gough via office@forestparkprep.co.uk or via our enquiry form. She will be able to discuss the next steps in our admissions process, and will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have at this stage.
Visit the School and Meet with Mr Tucker
We invite anyone interested in finding out more about Forest Park to visit us, tour our school and meet with the Head, Mr Tucker. In the meeting, you will be able to discuss the needs of your child and ask questions about how Forest Park can help nurture and develop your child’s talents and abilities. Depending on which year group your child would be joining, we will also ensure you meet relevant members of our team. We will also offer your child a taster session with the class they would be joining.
Registration
Following a meeting with Mr Tucker, we will invite you to register for a place at Forest Park. For children who are joining Early Years, we will ask for a contact at your child’s current school or nursery, whilst for pupils who are joining Year 1 and above, we will ask for a recent school report and a reference from your child’s current school.
Offer and Acceptance
Once we have reviewed the information provided, we will be able to confirm whether we are able to offer a place for your child. We will then send a formal offer letter together with our Terms and Conditions, which you will need to sign and agree to in order to accept a place.
We look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to our School.
