This week, Reception have been thinking about Children’s Mental Health Week 💛
To celebrate, the children came to school wearing something that makes them feel comfortable, confident and like they truly belong — whether that was a club uniform, cultural dress, their favourite colour, or something totally unique to them.
We spent time sharing why our outfits are special and talking about how they help us feel safe, happy and proud of who we are. 🌟
Linking to this year’s theme, “This Is My Place,” we explored what it means to belong — in our classroom, in our school and in the world around us.
We are so proud of the children for sharing their feelings so openly and respectfully. 💬✨
