Year 4 worked in groups this afternoon to create their poster based on the digestive system. They worked hard to label the organs and place them in the correct order on their human body #fppaspire
Year 1 maths lately 🧮 The children have been deepening their place value knowledge and writing numbers as words using practical and visual resources. Alongside this, they have done a fantastic job of beginning to answer word questions and problem solve in their books! #fpp #forestparkprepschool
Collaboration was put to the test in Year 5’s PSHE lesson today!
The challenge was simple… build the tallest tower using just 6 pieces of paper and some sellotape! But there was a twist (or three!). Teams had to work in silence for 3 minutes, lose a team member for another 3 minutes and even send a “spy” to investigate what the other teams were up to for 30 seconds! 🕵️♀️👀
Lots of problem-solving, communication, creativity and teamwork were needed - and there were plenty of lessons learned along the way about the importance of collaboration.
