A Nurturing Environment Where Every Child Can Thrive
Led by Mrs Richardson, our dedicated Early Years team brings together over 40 years of combined experience in supporting young children’s learning and development. With small classes, a staff-to-child ratio of 1:5 and a dedicated key worker for every child, we take the time to understand each child’s personality, interests and individual needs.
We believe that children learn best when they feel happy, secure and confident. Our experienced team works closely with families to create a positive and supportive environment where children are encouraged to explore, make friends, develop independence and discover their strengths.
Nursery: Ages 2–3
Our Nursery offers a gentle introduction to early education, with an emphasis on learning through play, exploration and discovery. Children are encouraged to develop their communication, social and physical skills through engaging activities, creative experiences and opportunities to explore the world around them.

Pre-Prep: Ages 3–4
Our Pre-Prep builds on the foundations established in Nursery, supporting children as they prepare for the exciting transition into Reception. Through a balance of purposeful play and more structured learning opportunities, children begin to develop early literacy, phonics and mathematical skills, alongside their confidence, independence and curiosity.
Our Pre-Prep classrooms connect directly with Reception, allowing children to become familiar with their future learning environment, teachers and routines.
More Than Just Nursery
Being part of Forest Park means children benefit from experiences that extend beyond a traditional nursery setting. Specialist teachers introduce children to Music, PE and Spanish, while regular trips, outdoor learning and opportunities to participate in wider school life help them develop new interests and skills.
Our welcoming classrooms and spacious outdoor learning areas provide opportunities for imaginative play, creativity, physical development and exploration throughout the day.
Flexible Care for Busy Families
We understand that every family has different needs. That’s why we offer both term-time and year-round Nursery and Pre-Prep provision, with flexible attendance options and extended hours from 7.30am to 6.00pm. Fresh, healthy meals are prepared on site, and daily online updates help parents stay connected with their child’s experiences, learning and development.

A Seamless Journey into Reception
One of the benefits of joining Forest Park Nursery and Pre-Prep is the opportunity to become part of our school community from the very beginning.
